Waxworms
Waxworms are the larval stage of the Greater Wax Moth (Galleria mellonella). Waxworms are high in fat and should only be used as an occasional treat. They are great for picky eaters. Waxworms will last around 2 weeks at room temperature. At 50-60 degrees F. they will last up to 4 weeks. They should be kept at low humidity levels, remove dead (black) worms daily. We do not guarantee a specific count but guarantee the weight of the product purchased. All counts are approximate. We ship more weight than ordered to cover any DOA’s or undersized Waxworms. Waxworms will come cupped, dust with calcium powder before feeding.
